Title 24 Step by Step
What We Do
Once your plans are at least 80% complete, you can order your Title 24 Report from us. We’ll run calculations to make sure your planned project is in compliance with Title 24 Energy Codes. We then issue you a “CF1R Certificate of Compliance” and register your project with CHEERS.
What You’ll Do
Submit the Title 24 Report we provide you with to your planning department. We will support you with any Title 24 related inquiries during the planning phase. This includes any corrections on your Title 24 report for free. Once you obtain building permits you’re ready to start construction.
Field Inspection
During construction, your project may require “ECC Special Features” verification. If so, it’ll be called out on your report. This needs to be done before your Final inspection. For this step, you’ll need to contact a local ECC/HERS Rater to schedule a field verification & sign off on CHEERS.
